What can you expect?
As many key topics have already been covered in previous years, this year’s focus will be on sharing the first preliminary insights from the gene therapy clinical trial and the ongoing natural history study, alongside presenting a vision for building global Centers of Excellence. These centres aim to consolidate expertise on CTNNB1 syndrome and to support the establishment of new clinical trial sites worldwide.
World-leading experts from around the globe
This year’s program brings together returning speakers sharing exciting new data in CTNNB1 research, alongside new experts joining the conference for the first time.
Food, breaks, and networking
There will be plenty of coffee breaks and snacks to keep everyone energized throughout the packed program, as well as an organized lunch for all attendees, continuing our conference tradition.
Childcare for families
For families of children with CTNNB1 syndrome, on-site childcare will be available during the conference, allowing parents to attend sessions uninterrupted. Please note: spaces are limited!

Travel Information
By Train
For those arriving by train, Barcelona is easily accessible from all major European cities via high-speed and international rail connections. We recommend visiting Trainline (https://www.thetrainline.com/) for comprehensive information on train routes, schedules, and ticket bookings across Europe.
By Car
Travelers choosing to drive to the conference can enter Barcelona through various border crossings with neighboring countries such as France, Italy, Austria, or Andorra, depending on their route. Alternatively, you may rent a car from one of the many international and local car rental agencies operating in Spain.
Spain’s highway network is modern, well-maintained, and clearly signposted. For detailed driving directions, toll information, and route planning, we recommend consulting resources such as ViaMichelin or the Real Automóvil Club de España (RACE).
By Plane
If you plan to arrive by plane, the primary international gateway is Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN), located approximately 15 km from the city center. It is one of Southern Europe’s major international hubs, offering extensive direct connections to destinations across Europe and worldwide.
Barcelona-El Prat Airport is served by a wide range of airlines, including members of Star Alliance, SkyTeam, and oneworld, as well as low-cost carriers such as Vueling, easyJet, and Ryanair.
Airport Transfers to Barcelona
From Barcelona-El Prat Airport, the city center is easily accessible by:
- Taxi
- Airport shuttle bus (Aerobús)
- Metro and train services
- Private transfer or shuttle services
Numerous private shuttle and transfer providers also operate between Barcelona Airport, the city, and surrounding regions.
